The CHD is delighted to have brought together 37 member organizations—representing 67 individuals working on the ground in the fields of health, education, vocational training, agricultural development, electrification, and many others—at the regional consultation meeting on Madagascar held on February 19.
Your presence, your feedback, and your discussions once again demonstrated the collective strength, diversity, and complementary nature of the work carried out by CHD members in Madagascar.
We had the honor of welcoming Mr. Suzelin Ratohiarijaona, Madagascar’s Minister of Agriculture in 2024, who opened the session by highlighting the crucial role of international NGOs—key partners of Malagasy civil society organizations and the government, 80% of whose budget relies on external funding.
